This George Peabody Library in Baltimore is one of my all time favorites. I had the best time working with Brooklyn and Kenneth and of course it almost goes without saying that the Peabody Library is a gorgeous venue for photography. I’ll save all the text for after the photos because there are a lot of photos!
George Peabody Library Wedding
The Peabody Library is located in the historic Mt. Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore. It was the perfect venue for a pair of book lovers like Brooklyn and Kenneth. As you can see from their details they incorporated their favorite books and authors into the centerpieces on each table which was the perfect final touch for a library wedding.
The wedding day started at the Hotel Indigo where both couples got ready a few blocks away from the George Peabody Library. The hotel has a great library for photographs, but most importantly for them, it is dog friendly, so they were able to bring along their beloved dog. After getting ready we headed a few blocks to the Washington Monument for their first look and a few quick portraits of the couple and bridal party.
Next was the touching ceremony in the beautiful Peabody Library. I always love when couples allocate plenty of time for portraits and Brooklyn & Kenny did just that as we explored Mt. Vernon after the ceremony. Finally they capped off the day by celebrating into the night with all of their guests. The dance floor stayed busy all night.
So to sum up: beautiful couple, gorgeous venue, historic neighborhood, and lots of photos. What more could a photographer ask for?
Lucky to have a great team of vendors working at this event.
